Face Masks and Store Hold

Hey everybody. So, if you got a mask from me, congratulations! You got a horribly constructed mask! I’m kidding. I’m no professional seamstress, nor do I really know how to use a machine, but I’ve made it by.

If you were lucky enough to get a mask (or order one), then please let me know how they are holding up and if there is any issues.

Also, make sure that you DELICATE/HAND WASH THEM ONLY. You can dry them as normal, or hang them to dry (which is my preferred method. The less tangles the better, or rolls around in the machine. You get the drill.)

I recently had posted that my store was going through some changes (and really it still is) and that I would be opening up with more products and different ordering styles. While that still holds true, while we are in this pandemic, I am putting things on hold (for the most part). Forgive me for doing so, but it’s for the safety of the elderly, sick, and littles. Also, the less post office visits for me, the better. When this is safe and over, I will be reopening for the same ordering routine as before.

Thanks for stopping by this little shop of horrors. Much appreciated. Good luck out there, may the force be with you and the odds ever in your favor.

Bath sets and slow updates…

So I finally got the bath sets up like I wanted to. I’ll still be making them because frankly they are fun to do, and they are great gifts.

The updating process is slow. Now that I have my picture box set up, I can go through my inventory and start taking pictures with my updated things. It’s just going to take me some time, and then I can get back into the grind of working on stuff.

Also, really have to finish my last custom order I will ever do. It’s kind of bitter sweet, and the lovely woman that ordered it has been a life long friend, and oh so patient with me, so I thank her for that, and all of her amazing medical skills.

So you can check out the new updated items in the shop here on the store (I think they should have updated and transferred over, but if not I’ll get my web admin to fix it), or you can go to:

Thanks folks!

Guess who’s back…?

Back again.

Meg is back, tell some men.

I feel like I have said that before, in another post. Anyways.

There has been a lot going on, so I thought I would do my annual update. Basically, I’m still doing this. This is never going to stop, and I’m going to continue making things, and continue to sell as I always have. But the changes are coming.

I’m re-branding. Not so mu ch straying away from my company name, that’s perfect for me. But, I’m no longer taking custom orders. That’s right ladies and gents. I’ve always loved doing custom orders, but with all the health issues and changes in my life, I really don’t have the time for it, and honestly, I’m enjoying the freedom of not meeting deadlines. That said, that doesn’t mean that I’m not open to suggestions of things people would like to see being made.

So the plan right now is, to make a few items of each and just post them up for sale, and people can get what I have in my inventory. If you are in town, there is no shipping costs, unless it gets wrapped/packaged, or put in the mail. There is a slight shipping cost for those out of city/state that order, but that, I think, is expected.

The next change is the store front I’m going to be folding into my page here. I use Etsy, and Facebook to do a good portion of my selling, however, I’d still like to be independent and do sales from here as well.

As for the personal stuff, for those that didn’t know, I have carpal tunnel, so that exponentially slows down my ability to crochet, stitch, and bead. I’ve also started a podcast, and that takes up time doing the research though, admittedly I am super slow doing that, too. I also have some other fun (not really) health issues going on, so that’s been taking up a bit of time, and there is of course, the wonders of being Super Autism Mom!

Either way, thanks for standing by, and I’ll try to get things going as best as I can after the holiday season.

I’m back!

I say that, as I have never really been gone. Like, ever. Either way! I’m back guys! Sorry I haven’t been keeping up to date on here, it’s been mad crazy the past few months. But I can say… that I’m back in the saddle, and life is moving forward in exactly the way that I want it to. I removed the most negative parts of my life out, and now I’m looking forward to my new adventures. Here’s a sneak peak at something I’m working on… don’t mind the color scheme, it was inverted for easier viewing. I’m hoping to post more things in the future… but for now… 🙂

Gosh, I seriously love him! Not him, but HIM!

Robots, Donations, and more!

Today, I have to say was a pretty good day. Luke got to build robots today as part of a museum kids program. Sadly, we didn’t get to finish, and that led to a small melt down in which he kicked me and pushed me a few times, but I was able to redirect him, and get him calm by the time we got to the car.

We went to dinner with the man, and for the most part things were good!

On a side note, I did set up a GoFundMe Page for Luke’s service dog fund. You can donate to that here.

Lastly, I hate making blankets! That is all.

Hi. You have reached Megan. This webzone is not completed yet. You can thank our local Bakersfield Comic Con for that. But, I promise you, this will be up soon for your one stop shop! In the mean time, you can click HERE to go to my facebook page. And also, here’s a random picture of a sloth. Cause sloths.
